ABOUT ME

Chris A. Grau

Hi! My name is Chris Grau. I am from Miami, Florida. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Religious Studies. With this, I hope to one day become a dentist and open my own practice. After transferring from Miami-Dade College, I was really excited to join the community here at FIU. As the semesters passed, FIU felt like home and a place that I gained more than just content knowledge. FIU gave me the opportunity to be a leader, a role model, and gave me all the tools I need to succeed in my aspirations. Throughout the site, you will find my digital resume, my volunteer experiences, and my active engagement in co-curricular activities and various leadership roles. The Global Learning Department at FIU has thoroughly prepared me to be a more globally-aware citizen.  I am thankful that it was implemented on me because the world is becoming more interconnected through communication, technology, culture, and education. This site showcases my abilities to use tools and tactics that I have learned throughout my time at FIU that enhanced my global awareness, global perspective, and attitude of global engagement.
